This Side Up
Yes, you can believe your eyes. It is a new layout. I wasn’t really planning on updating this site, but I had a sudden surge of creative energy (which I haven’t had much of for the longest time) this afternoon and this was the result. Hope you guys like it, because I sure do! I think it’s fun
There are also 2 new drawings that you can check out.

Not much has changed since my last post four long months ago. My entire second semester reeked of academic suckiness (nothing new there), and I’m still not liking ECE too much. I’m definitely going to try to see if I can still shift to another course next year. I did, however, lose a lot of weight because of all the stress, so I suppose I can thank ECE for that.

Happy Holidays
Happy holidays, everyone! Right now I’m enjoying my much needed Christmas break. I had to get through a barrage of exams first, though. Two of them I’m pretty sure I passed, one I’m not so sure of, and one I can bet my dog’s life on that I failed. Miserably. I know because of the 3 hours we had for that exam, I spent the first hour thinking of creative ways to answer mathematical questions, the second drawing cats and fish bones on my answer sheets, and the last sleeping while drooling on my questionnaire. I may have managed to get a 10% on that exam, but that still remains to be seen.
It’s actually been a pretty eventful break so far. Last Thursday, Convergence, a techie magazine show on Net-25, came over to do a feature on me for their E-life segment. I was really apprehensive about the whole thing at first, mainly because I didn’t want to embarrass myself on national television, but it turned out to be quite a fun experience. I suppose it was partly because I managed to coerce Aggie and Chrissa to keep me company during the shoot, and be interviewed for a little bit, too. At least we can all look silly together!
The people from the show were also really nice. They weren’t at all intimidating, and Jar, one of the show’s hosts, even sounded so much like our favorite high school teacher.
Then on Friday, Chrissa and I hit the malls for some last minute gift shopping. I wasn’t able to finish everything, but I think I did pretty well considering how many other last-minute shoppers I had to compete with that day. I managed to stay more or less on budget, too! I still have to find gifts for a few more people, but I know I won’t be seeing them until after the holidays, so I’m not too worried.
My old high school class also had its annual Christmas reunion party last Saturday, and that’s always loads of fun. It was great seeing the old whackos again. I even made sure not to drink too much so I’d at least remember how much fun I had

Sembreak Na!
I’m pretty much back to my normal self (which, in my case, isn’t really normal at all) again. I was kind of depressed during the weekend, because I had been so sure that I was going to fail one of my major subjects (EEE 31). I found out just today that I passed! Colors definitely didn’t fly, and no parties were thrown, but in my book a 2.75 is waaay better than a 5. Oh, and just so you wouldn’t be confused, this is different from the subject I was talking about in the previous post. That one I did fail (well, not really, just an incomplete).
I feel really chipper now, because sembreak is finally here! Yay! I’m going swimming with my blockmates in Bulacan tomorrow, and I’m going out with my highschool barkada this Friday. I’m determined to milk every last drop of fun I can get out of this vacation right up until I finally have to slave away in school again.
Speaking of fun, I was all set to have some in the Oasis concert that I was raving about also in the previous post. Well, Oasis backed out and the concert is cancelled. I’m so disappointed, it’s not even funny. I think the band was concerned about the peace and order situation (or rather the lack thereof) in the country, so they pulled out altogether. So now I have 2 free Upper Box B tickets and no concert to go to
