Vacations Are Good for the Soul
I recently took a much-needed break from work to go on a short trip to Cebu with some old friends. Let me tell you, it did my soul good. When I got back to Singapore, at least five different people told me I was glowing. Here are some highlights from our vacation:
We threw ourselves off a bunch of waterfalls. Calling all thrill seekers! If you ever visit Cebu, you have to go canyoning at Montaneza Falls. You probably can’t tell, but that’s me throwing a peace sign while rappelling down a 100-foot waterfall. Pardon my French, but it felt fucking fantastic.
We posed underwater. How adorable are these photos? I loved them so much that they are now hanging on my bedroom wall. Apparently people look 10 times cuter submerged in a swimming pool.
We had the perfect lazy beach day. It involved tiring ourselves out swimming in the morning, stuffing our faces at the lunch buffet, having yummy cocktails by the shore, and having a nice, long nap outdoors. I highly recommend it.
You beat me to posting about Cebu! O_o I can’t believe it. I am in shock.
I love love love what you did with our underwater shots! Kathy’s is made of win! LMAO It would make a fantastic icon, but only we will get the joke. :-/

Di bale, marami pang next time. Walang matinong underwater pic si Kathy. Naka ilang ulit kami pero laging sablay. Yan na yung pinaka flattering. At least hindi siya mukang nalulunod, which is more than I can say for the other shots hehe!
Aw, it looks sooo beautiful. The water’s so clear, the sand’s so white…man, you don’t get untouched natural beauty like that anymore.
