Twenty-One

Would you look at that. I am now 21. Twenty-can-you-even-believe-it-one years old. How does it feel, you ask? (You probably don’t ask, but I’ll answer anyway.) It feels like 18. It’s strange, because I don’t really feel any different, but I know I am. I’m pretty sure that I did quite a bit of growing up somewhere between high school and now. Time sure flies when you’re busy trying to find a major that will neither quickly kill you with stress nor slowly kill you with boredom. Hmm… Now that I think about it, I do like 21 better than 18. It’s a happier, more self-assured age. Well, at least it is for this girl :-)
