Yay! Yay! Yay!
I went to the Philippine Web Awards last night… and I won the award for Best Personal Site!
I wasn’t even planning to go because the second semester had just started last Thursday and I was feeling VERY tired and was seriously in need of sleep. But my friend Aggie had even moved her birthday party to tonight just so she could go with me to the awards night. (Aggie was the one who got me started on HTML so she was the one I really wanted to go with.)
I said some really silly things in both the acceptance speech (all I said was “Wow! This is really great! Thanks!” while giggling like a silly schoolgirl) and the backstage interview. If I weren’t so happy I would have been seriously embarrassed. But this being my first and probably also my last, I think I’m entitled to a little silliness
